Professional Quintet
The Amsterdam Soloist Quintet was founded in the summer of 1997 by Henk van Twillert The quintet consists musicians who present themselves, beside this formation, also in various Dutch professional orchestra's, chambermusic ensembles and as soloists such as the The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. This stringformation is the permanent accompanist of baritinsaxophonist Henk van Twillert.The Amsterdam Soloist Quintet has different projects, however always three characteristics are present: Great people, greta musicians and their love for music.

The artistic leader and first violonist is Emi Ohi Resnick, native of New York City, who made her debut in Carnegie Hall at the age of fifteen years old and has performed throughout the United states, Europe and Japan.

Henk van Twillert and the Amsterdam Soloist Quintet recorded the CD Homage to Heitor Villa-Lobos with the famous Bachianas Brasileiras.Homage a Piazzolla, Confesso with Inessa Galante and Saudades with Carlos do Carmo. Together with violinist Emmy Verhey the quintet and Henk vanTwillert joined in the production "Great Americans".
